We have seen that many companies and brands have tried to make some political statements in recent times. This is because of the different groups which are Pro-Taiwan or Pro-China. However, the entry into politics from Taiwan’s Yi Fang Fruit Tea has not pleased its customers as well as citizens of Taiwan.

Reportedly, Yi Fang Fruit Tea is alleged to be kowtowing towards China on the social networking site Weibo. This has made the netizens in Taiwan furious over this act by the company. Now, Yi Fang Fruit Tea has realized their mistake and have been made to apologize. Also, the brand has announced that they will move out of politics and will stick to making and selling tea only. They have declared that they will remain apolitical and will not take part in the political situation of the country any further.

Now, the whole incident is such that Taiwan’s popular tea brand named Yi Fang Fruit Tea posted something on Weibo which infuriated many of Taiwanese users. Reports suggest that Yi Fang Fruit Tea kowtowed to China by making a statement that they support China’s “one country, two systems” framework. Moreover, they also condemned the protests against the China-backed anti-extradition bill in Hong Kong.

Also, one of Yi Fang’s branches went on strike without permission and the company has now clarified that they will cut its contract with the branch. This is after the users threatened to boycott the company because of its statements on the internet. Many users say that they will “refuse to drink it” referring to the fruit tea from Yi Fang and that “This turned out to be the nail in the coffin for fruit tea.”

Realizing the mistake of its branch, Yi Fang clarified that “The incident aroused concern and disturbed all sectors of society. Yi Fang Fruit Tea Headquarters is deeply sorry.”

I am not suggesting your content is not solid., however what
if you added a post title that grabbed people’s attention? I mean Taiwan'
s Yi Fang Fruit Tea says it will stick to tea and move out of politics –
The Taiwan Times is a little vanilla. You could look at Yahoo’s home page and watch how they write news
headlines to grab viewers to click. You might try adding a video or a picture or
two to get readers interested about what you’ve got to say.
In my opinion, it would make your posts a little bit more interesting.
