We know that the world is coming to Taiwan right now because of the fact that the tourism industry in the country, as well as its industrial and economic growth, is soaring. Despite the fact that economies around the world are going through a slowdown, Taiwan grew in the last year which tells you something about its economy. For this reason, we know that people in Taiwan are also interested to go abroad and explore places and go to neighbouring countries such as South Korea and others. Talking about South Korea, airlines from the Southern part of Korea named Fly Gangwon has just launched its flights in Taiwan.
Now, it is interesting to note that Fly Gangwon is just a month-old when it comes to operating in South Korea but they have already felt it is the right time to expand its operations in Taiwan. Fly Gangwon’s first overseas destination is the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport. As far as the flights of Fly Gangwon are concerned, they operate from South Korea’s Yangyang which is a province of Gangwon. As far as Gangwon is concerned, it has the country’s third-tallest peak, Mount Seorak.
Also known is the fact that there will be daily flights between the Yangyang to the Taoyuan and the first flight arrived at the Taoyuan airport on Thursday. As far as the airline officials are concerned, they were hoping to boost bilateral tourism and to attract more Taiwanese travelers to visit the lesser-known regions of South Korea. In the maiden flight of Fly Gangwon, its Boeing 737-800 airplane which arrived at Taoyuan took 161 passengers to South Korea. Also, the Fly Gangwon flight which entered Taiwan for the first time ever was greeted with water canons which is a mark of showing respect and gratitude towards a flight that is noteworthy.
