Russian forces invade Ukraine, 40 soldiers already dead

Russian forces invade after Putin’s Declaration. They launched a military assault on Ukraine. They crossed its borders and bombed targets near big cities.

Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia does not plan to invade Ukraine. He also demanded that his military lay down their arms.

A few moments later, Putin launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine. Russian forces breached the border at many places. There are also reports of fighting in different parts of eastern Ukraine. 10 civilians are dead.

A Ukrainian presidential adviser informed the death of 40 soldiers. Also, dozens of them got severe wounds. Wiring sirens were all across the capital. Several neighboring countries began to have preparations to take large refugees.

Russian forces first launched strikes on Ukraine’s military infrastructure and border guard units. The Ukrainians mentioned the border near Kharkiv in the north, Luhansk in the east are Russian-annexed. Crimea in the south and from Belarus.

Russian tanks are getting observed on the outskirts of Kharkiv, a city with 1.4 million people. BBC showed missiles slamming into an airport in the western city of Ivano-Frankivsk. Russian leader launches military operation despite unfounded claims.

Putin also alleged Ukraine’s government for eight years of genocide. He mentioned that the aim was the demilitarisation and “denazification” of Ukraine.

Putin warns the outside power interfering on behalf of Ukraine. They are also going to face the consequences. Neighboring countries reacted to the crisis.

UN Secretary-General António Guterres also stated, “President Putin, in the name of humanity, bring your troops back to Russia.”Cars crowded on Ukraine’s border with Moldova.

Maia Sandu is the country’s pro-EU president. They are also ready to help tens of thousands of Ukrainians.”

President Biden warned that Russia would hold them accountable. France’s President Emmanuel Macron also said that attacks have deep, lasting consequences for lives. EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell calls the current situation the darkest hours for Europe.
