Russia-Ukraine tension continues in UN Security Council

The UN security council records angry clashes between Russia and the US. The Russian troops bordering Ukraine is a major issue. The meeting discussed the reason for Moscow’s troop build-up.

The United States informs the response on the Written Proposal. The US also demanded Russia to de-escalate the crisis in Ukraine.

The Russian deputy foreign minister then denies the very fact. Also, they said that they are still preparing the response.

A state department spokesperson informs the details in UN. However, it will keep the allies and partners updated.

At the same time, European leaders will visit Ukraine for talks. UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson will fly to Kyiv as well. He will also try to come up with a diplomatic solution with Ukraine’s president. Volodymyr Zelensky is the current president of Ukraine. The goal is to avoid further bloodshed. The Polish and the Dutch Prime Minister will also head for the discussion.
