Russia claims Ukraine attacked Kremlin with drones to kill Putin

In a major escalation between Russia and Ukraine in a war that is already going from more than a year, we have just heard from the Russian side that there was an assassination attempt on the life of Russian President Vladimir Putin yesterday night. Russia claims that the drones that came from Ukraine were definitely sent to attack and kill the Russian President as explosions were heard above the Kremlin late at night. It is worth noting that the Ukrainian side have denied these allegations and have instead blamed the Russian side for planting evidence and saying that they wanted some justification to escalate the war even further.

It is worth noting that the drones were seen hovering over the Kremlin and they were shot down just in time before it hit the roof of Kremlin which is the official residence of Russian President. It is also known that the Russian President was not inside the Kremlin at that time but the fact that these drones were shot down over Kremlin makes it unavoidable that the Russians will not retaliate. It is worth noting that the US intelligence agencies, when asked about this attack, said that they had no clue as well. They also said that anything coming out of the Kremlin should be taken with a “large shaker of salt”.

However, Russian Parliament has also taken serious note of this incident and we already know that they love their President Putin which is the reason why they have told the Russian military to attack Ukraine with even more power now. Russia have also claimed that the attack on Kremlin is considered as a “terrorist attack” by them and they now reserve the right to respond to this attack in whichever manner they see fit.

Chairman of Russia’s lower house of Parliament said, “We will demand the use of weapons capable of stopping and destroying the Kyiv terrorist regime”. Ukraine’s President Zelensky denied these allegations saying that “We fight on our territory. We’re defending our villages and cities. We don’t have enough weapons for these.” adding that “We don’t attack Putin or Moscow,”
