Renowned US podcast host admits he has covid

Joe Rogan, a hugely popular US podcast host, recently announced that he has COVID. He has already faced some controversy as he suggested young, healthy people not to go for the coronavirus vaccine.

He told his Instagram followers that he is recovering. But there is no need to postpone his next show as a US podcast host.

In April, he already faced a backlash due to his comment against the vaccine. but later, he clarified that “I’m not an anti-vax person.”

Anyone above the age of 12 in the US is eligible for a vaccination. At least 62% of the country has already received their first jab for COVID-19. However, there is a slowdown in the rollout of the vaccination rate. Particularly in the southern states, there is a lack of vaccination urgency among the youth.

The US has currently recorded nearly 39.4 million cases for Covid. The country has recorded more than 642000 deaths which are marking the highest figure in the world.

Rogan has said on Instagram that he has returned from a Florida show. Then he started feeling ‘very weary’ and ‘ran down’ along with a headache.

Then he immediately took action for it with a string of medicines that includes deworming drug ivermectin. This medicine is yet to prove useful against covid.

After three days, he felt great, but he would have moved to his show on Friday in Nashville.

“A wonderful heartfelt thank you to modern medicine for pulling me out of this so quickly and easily,” he ended his post by saying.

It was not at all clear if he got his vaccination or not. This stand-up comedian and TV host have turned himself into a media mogul. He is famous for his controversy with his blunt yet inflammatory styling.

His podcast, the Joe Rogan Experience, won the title of the most popular podcast on Spotify in 2020. He has millions of followers on Twitter and Instagram.
