TOKYO, Feb. 8, 2021 /PRNewswire/ — Nippon Sigmax Co., Ltd., owner of Zamst, a brand of athletic braces and care products headquartered in Tokyo, Japan, has entered a sports sponsorship agreement with Yuji Nishida, Japanese men’s professional volleyball player for JTEKT Stings in the nation’s hugely popular V.League.

Zamst announces sponsorship with Yuji Nishida

Nishida currently plays for JTEKT Stings in the V1 League as an ‘opposite’ and just 21 years of age has already played in the 2017-18 V. Men’s Premier League as the youngest to debut in Japan – in January 2018, before taking part in the FIVB World Cup Volleyball 2019 in which Japan claimed 4th place.

He is now a regular on the Japan Men’s National Team and also has a 2020 Emperor’s Cup and Empress’s Cup All Japan Volleyball Championship winners medal to his credit.

On the news being made public, Nishida said Thank you very much for providing me with an environment where I can play as a volleyball player. In volleyball, in addition to jumping, performance depends on responding quickly and endurance. Therefore, we place importance on the insoles that support the entire body from the feet up and compression items that support overworked muscles. I have been looking for reliable, functional, and comfortable products across many different brands, and Zamst products have become my favorite” adding “I am glad to enter this sponsorship with them, and I would like to thank Zamst again for giving me a playing environment.”
