We know that one of the best markers to estimate the growth of any economy is to see how much that market can hire its population. It is generally found that when there is a downturn in the economy, people start losing jobs since there is a slowdown in the companies. However, when companies tend to hire people more then we can say that the economy is performing well as the demand and supply need to be increased. Talking about Taiwan’s economy, we see that it is the only one which is growing at a good pace despite the overall slowdown.
Also, we have seen various reports regarding the Taiwanese economy where it is seen that the ICT sector is likely to grow even higher next year. Therefore, we now have a new survey which reveals that the hiring outlook for Taiwan in Q1, 2020 looks good as well. One of the main reasons, as revealed by the report, is that Taiwanese companies operating abroad are investing in their home country more. This means that they are hiring people in Taiwan and the outlook is expected to increase even further.
One of the main factors bringing companies to Taiwan from places such as China, Hong Kong and others is the political and economic turmoil that is taking place in those regions. Add to that the US-China trade war and we have the perfect reason as to why Taiwan is benefitting from all this mess.
As per this survey’s results, 56.20 percent of the polled employers said they have plans to hire in the January- March period of next year, up from 51.06 percent recorded in a similar poll for the first quarter of this year. This means that hiring will take place on a larger scale than earlier this year in Taiwan and those who are looking to get a new job should stay informed in this regards.
