Biden helds Trump responsible for Capitol Riot

American President Joe Biden will blame Donald Trump for the US Capitol Riot on the anniversary of the attack. Trump supporters are responsible for storming the building while a congressional meeting was in progress to elect Biden for the post of President.

Congress spokeswoman Jen Paski notified the press earlier that Biden would hold Trump “singular responsibility” for the “chaos and carnage”. The police put 725 suspects in connection with the attack behind the bars.

The world remembers the images of esteemed US lawmakers hiding away from the mob. He was in the gallery of the House of Representatives on January 6, 2021.

Donald Trump allegedly agitated the protestors to march with the crowd to the White House. A spokesman dispelling Biden’s claim said that it was “unsurprising” that Mr. Biden would spend the day “trying to further divide our nation”. He wants to distract voters from rising inflation, crime, and coronavirus school closures.

To counter such a response, the White House press secretary notified the citizens by announcing that the President “will lay out the significance of what happened at the Capitol, and the singular responsibility that President Trump has for the chaos and carnage that we saw”.

She also added that “the president will try to push back the lies spread by the former president which misled the American people and his own supporters to violate laws.”

A separate panel established to inquire into the riot is looking at phone records, visitor logs, and other relevant White House documents to bring light on the events. It has already issued legal summons to members of the inner circles of Trump.

US Attorney General Merrick Garland called inquiry “one of the largest, most complex, and most resource-intensive investigations in our history.”

He added that 140 police officers lost their lives during the riots. One of them died of a heart attack.

Mr Trump was impeached by the House for inciting the insurrection but was later acquitted by the Senate.
