Biden chides Republican governors planning to resist vaccine mandate

The US President Joe Biden said he is disappointed at Republican governors who are planning to resist his vaccine mandate. According to him, they are threatening legal action. During a visit to Brookland Middle School, Biden said, “I am so disappointed.” He answered, “have at it” when reporters asked him a question about Republicans who are pushing back his six-point coronavirus plan.

In particular, some of the Republican governors have acted much more cavalier with the health of the kids. Hence it is a cavalier role with the health of the whole community. Biden said this is not at all a game.

He further said, “We got to come together. I think the vast majority look at the polling data. The vast majority of the American people know we have to do these. They’re hard but necessary; we’re gonna get them done. Thank you.”

This visit of Biden comes after Biden has ordered a sweeping mandate on Thursday requiring all the employees to get a vaccination or submit the weekly testing. This mandate is affecting at least 80 million Americans. At least 17 million workers at health facilities have received federal Medicare or Medicaid who needs to get the vaccination.

The administration has been patient. But Biden said that patience is wearing things, and the refusals are costing everyone. Biden said that unvaccinated people could cost a lot of damage. Republicans across the country have slammed the new rules, which are unconstitutional, and the red states are gearing up for a legal battle.

“The American Dream has turned into a nightmare under President Biden and the radical Democrats,” Republican South Carolina Gov. Henry McMaster said on Twitter in response to the mandate. “They have declared war against capitalism, thumbed their noses at the Constitution, and empowered our enemies abroad.”

“Rest assured, we will fight them to the gates of hell to protect the liberty and livelihood of every South Carolinian,” he added.

Texas Gov. Greg Abbott said Biden’s vaccination mandate is an assault on private businesses. He has issued an Executive Order which is protecting the rights of Texans to Choose whether they get the Covid vaccine or not. He has added it to his special agenda.

Republican Governors are not alone in this fight against this mandate. The Republican National Committee is also vowing to sue.

RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel says, like many other Americans, he is pro-vaccine and anti-mandate. Many small businesses and workers lack the money to fight the unconstitutional actions and authoritarian decrees of Biden. As his decrees for into effect, the RNC will sue the administration to protect the liberties of Americans.
