The 2020 Asia-Pacific Traditional Arts Festival has been cancelled.
The event was due to take place in Yilan.
In an announcement posted by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture on their Twitter feed, the reason, like the cancellation of so many other events globally, was put down to the ongoing battle to contain the COVID-19 pandemic.
The ministry apologised for any inconvenience caused.
